The cost of participating in each debate workshop for the summer of 2007 is as follows:

Policy Project – $3600
Sophomore Project – $3600
Fast Track – $4200

The above includes room and board for the duration of the workshops. Board includes two full, all you can eat meals a day (lunch and dinner) in the Wake Forest Fresh Food Co. as well as food at other student events. These include a faculty/student cookout, a pizza night, and several other recreational activities that are further described on the “Student Life” page.

Along with the informational application, applicants will be required to pay a $100 non-refundable application fee that rolls over into tuition. Application processing will start immediately after this is received.

Upon acceptance, students and parents will receive an official acceptance packet and will be required to submit a non-refundable $500 deposit shortly thereafter, again to be rolled over into tuition.

Thus, the remaining balances will be $3000 for both Policy Project and Sophomore Project and $3600 for Fast Track. All balances for all workshops must be paid in full by May 31, 2007.

Discounts: If application, $100 application fee, and $500 deposit are all completed by March 1, 2007, you will receive a $100 discount subtracted from your remaining balance. Thus, for example, Policy Project students would only owe a total of $3500.

If paying online: Stefan Bauschard, senior staff member, research director, and director of online financing for the Wake Forest Debate Workshops, is also the president of Planet Debate, a nationally frequented online debate resource.
